I wish I could fly away from here
And just join you and hold you forever near.
I wish I could be what you wanted most
But I’m stuck being what you think a host.
I wish I could be that dashing knight and forever take you away
But something bad happened today.
I gave it my all
I gave you my heart
But life was cruel and tore me apart.
I can’t be what you want and I can’t give what you need
The only thing I can do for you is be the shadow of who you thought of me.
