The moon is our father.
The sun is our mother.

Fathers keep us safe at night.
Mothers tuck us into bed.

We are the children of the sun and moon.
Our light shines in the darkest moments.

Laying down on our beds of clouds.
Covered with blankets of snow.

We will cry tears of rain.
But soon grow tall like the trees.

We drink the water of a river.
And swim the oceans for strength.

For one day we will have to take the place of the sun and moon.
It will be our turn to protect the Earth.

Leading the world in light through its darkness.
Day and Night.
