Cheated On

The Pain sinks in
As I think of what you’ve done

Betrayal flashes in my mind
Like a bright light in my eyes

My mind ponders
On how this could happen

Horrid thoughts
Rush in my head

I will never be able to forgive
The unspeakable that you did

The only emotion left to feel
Is sorrow

The sorrow of allowing myself
To trust you

But you threw my trust away
And now, it’s time to pay

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem through the eyes of a girl who's boyfriend has cheated on her. I wanted to make boys see how much hurt they could cause by doing something like this. Personally, I have never been cheated on. But I hope I never will.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes -
the ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo.
They push the human race forward.

Pretty good. Maybe add some more emotion and make the message clearer of how much it hurts and why, etcetera.
