What I would do to paint a new, unknown life
Through every struggle, I wish for a brighter time
Quivering in the dark, wishing for something sweet like fruit
Just as I desired, the aroma of a rainbow surfaces
Feeling my devotion, I look through the moonlight and into the sky
Hidden in the tide, what I long for flings out
The intenseness of reality is beginning to make me delerious

A kiss as grateful as a ballerina’s twist
Evergreen, the swell of joy will never crash.
This journey is one that won’t eclipse, never to trap them in unhappiness. Although only whispered, this crush is loud enough to never wither
And this life is as radiant as a crystal, never to be lost at sea.
The wish for a bite of the sweet fruit doesn’t clash with their emotions.
Time will never turn them to lonely strangers, this perspective is one they won’t lose hold of.

We have a soul at times,
sometimes we care for more than just ourselves.
Sometimes someone takes that spot, hogging all the care and love that can fit in our hearts
All consuming, it’s a lingering feeling that never drifts away
coming in waves, like the tides at sea
