Her Scent

i smell her scent in my room and beg my mouth
not to cry out
what right did you have being here?
to console me? no.
these deafening words have not consoled me,
and will not,
for you are the one screaming them
to her, and to him, and to yourself
you have no right to beg me for mercy when i,
so unwillingly let you sleep all day
by and by
as i grew, slowly
in a world i did not want to know
you have no right
to leave your smell for my nose to pick up
or to touch me, gently, just to watch my face cringe
leave me! this place is mine, mine, mine.
you're face haunts me and i'm running out of time
to be happy
and i want to be
i smell her scent in my room and beg my mouth to close.
close my door mom. you have no right.
close my door.
