This is the saddest poem
I ever had to write
I close my eyes and dream
That I’ll be home tonight
I’m gone but not forgotten
So far far away
After doing what I did
This is the price I pay
I’m caged within these walls
With one chance to be free
I hear my conscience call
Telling me to face reality
This is the saddest poem
I ever had to write
I’m so far far from home .
So far from paradise
I’m in my deepest depression
Which I can barely hide
Within this poetic session
To you my feelings I confide
Now I understand
Why the caged bird sings
He sings for his freedom
And for his family he feigns
This truly is the saddest poem
I ever chose to write
A poem revealing feelings.
A poem of my life

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes -
the ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo.
They push the human race forward.

This is...beautiful. I love it. The title fits with the poem and the poem flows with the words...beautifully! Awestruck.
