When I am in your arms
I am safe from all danger and harm
With you wrapped tightly around me
Nothing and no one can touch me
Because within the warmth of your embrace
I, Lamore, know you will keep me safe
I am sheltered by you
Because I have someone to hold onto
With my chin resting on your shoulder, you simply divert
Me and my heart from all pain and hurt
You are my refuge, you are my protection
With comfort & warmth down to perfection
Snuggled next to you I am calm
You keep me cozy through the worst storm
You dry my eyes, and say there's no need to cry
The storm has passed, there's not a cloud in our sky
And still my eyes are shut tight
In the darkness of my fears, you are my light
All I ask is for you to please hold on..
I don't want to wake up to see that you're gone...

This is a poem I wrote about my boyfriend in grade 11. I was going through a tough time and he helped me get through it. And he still does.
