The sun’s rays light up the early spring dawn;
And bold, bright eggs are hidden on the lawn.
The smell of a fresh rain is detected,
My happiness is once again resurrected.
The birds chirp a lovely and joyful lilt,
The plants are no longer in wilt.
As I inhale the sweet scents of the season,
And the sights with a logical reason,
I begin to draw an appreciation for my life,
And pray that we may not end in strife
