Because you spilled the milk
You had to go to the store,
And you saw him there-
So you didn’t buy any milk
Instead you went with him
And had more fun than grocery shopping-
When you left him you came rushing home
And I asked you why you were gone so long-
Yet still no milk
And you had no response
So I ate my cereal dry
And confused
While you went to bed in the morning
After you had your fill.
