Each day your music fills the air I breathe,
Helping me understand lifes ups and downs.
So, may I inquire? Why did you leave?
You may be smiling, but I am all frowns.
You are like the snshine that warms the Earth.
Each day you're the person that makes me smirk.
I feel that I have known you since my birth.
So may I inquire? Why don't you lurk?
Your words are the soundtrack of every day.
It plays in my head like my favorite track.
May I inquire? Why didn't you stay?
And may I ask? Will you ever come back?
I wish you could know how I miss you so.
And I wish I knew why you had to go.
