I wandered away to the stream-
a tide was
thumping
against the rocks
crashing
against the sides and
softly
moving against my heels.
I glanced at my feet,
my heart and soul
rippling and folding over
and over.
The current was hard but
soothing.
What life this could care for- questionable.
But I took a breath
and he laughed
running by my side.
Engulfed.
And a gaze bent a realization
to the divinity
that ran in me as well.
