At practice we work on our strokes and pulls,
Through the blazing hot or the freezing cold.
Whether we work on sprints or long distance,
We always put in 110% with persistance!
We get to practice early to chat with our friends,
Then stretch together, toe-touching and bends.
After dryland we strip off our clothes
And into the water everyone goes!
We work hard swimming to prepare for the race,
So we can subtract and improve a place!
For an intense 2 hours we swim super hard
Hyperventilating and barfing every yard!
After the hours we get out and chat,
Chat 'bout everything and eat 'till we're fat!
We repeat the cycle again and again.
Its so fun we shout to God, "Amen!"

Michelle, I am also a swimmer. I like reading your stories about swimming because I can relate to them. I wish I could meet you in person.
