Where I'm from, My life
The place that I live, where I am from.
What I have gone through, what I have become.
From doing right, to all the problems I’ve caused.
From breaking them all, and making my laws.
If you’re not on top, than you’re not worth ***.
You have to be down, or at least closely knit.
You can’t be different, fit a stereotype,
Getting drunk after school, and hitting the pipe.
Here you need to know, just what to say,
And do the “cool” thing day after day.
From back in the corner I look at all the faces,
All being judged, but on what basis.
They think the know who I am,
But thats not really me.
They don’t give a damn,
Unless I agree.
I was seen as the queen,
But still I was a pawn.
Even though I may be unseen,
That old me is gone.
The place that I lived, where I was from.
That old me has past, I am no longer numb.
