Broken wings of time
Time flies
or so people say.
“Time flees,”
I say.
And I have to know it.
Inexorable ticking
becomes digital flashing
- still unstoppable.
Time fools
everybody
without exception.
You cannot buy time,
it keeps on trickling.
Time feels
never quite right
too long or too short
too dark or too bright.
Until one day somebody catches it
and breaks its wings.
