Cold Night
As I walk a path of loneliness
I see there must be more than this
Dark, snow, harsh cold, trees ,hidden animals
The wind hits my face
I didn't wind could hurt so bad
Bare trees don't block, don't comfort
Is there more?
Life, fun, excitement, contentment
No, not for me
Alone, bitter, scared
Confused, exhausted, unaware
Through woods of dark
Through snow of ice
I walk a cold night
