Modern America

The game begins,
One point for cowboys,

A gathering in place of
loyally devoted fans.

Plump, Prickled forearms
shoot up in the air.

Greedy fingers and sweaty palms
reach for he last chickin crispies

Deep voices bellow
at their female food sources

"Where in God's name are
the chickin crispies?!"

This poem was inspired through groing up in texan suburbia where, naturally, there are tons and tons of obese football fans. ;)

super creative. but be careful of making the assumption that all Texans are like that. Some, yes. ill give you that. i live in texas, and yes there are some of those obese football fanatics. but we arent all like that. And of course, u can find that in any state, not just texas. so im curious, why did u pick Texas?
