If Only We Could Take Them Back
They start fights
And end with tears
Some are kind
Some are rude
They are all around you everyday
Sometimes you say the wrong ones
In the end someone is usually unhappy
They just sit on the tip of your tongue all day
Waiting for a chance to come out
Loving, Kind, Caring, or Rude
Many words aren’t meant to be said
Until the day you accidentally say them
And everything is over
These things we call enemies’
Are words
