Sitting here wondering what the future holds
Wondering if my life turns out to be the fantasy I’ve always wanted
Or, if life has in store my child hood memory
Of hurt, abuse, and pain
With blue skies clear and beautiful
The future seems so promising
But in the end
Who really knows?
Wondering if the people in my life will be here after the storm
Wondering if my relationship will be a life long one
Or, will it crumble into a million pieces where I say I quit?
Will my life turn into the very thing I’m afraid of
Or will it be something I never would have imagined?
Those are the questions where only time will tell
So until that time comes
Life will be just a unpredictable game
With its twists and turns
But a game at the end
I definitely hope to win!!!
