and stolen glances
i’m a junkie for pity
of the lowest type
but don’t let everyone know
it’s my secret to tie up
keep locked in a
dusty old closet
where shoes and socks
make out when i’m gone
don’t keep making fake
approaches that don’t work
i told you before i wasn’t yourtype
or weren’t you listening
between the sullen music
on your iPod
and your own irrational haze
