I, Too, Dream of Independence
I, too, dream of independence.
I am the younger generation,
Who is expected to follow other’s paths
To have a “perfect,” life.
But I have dreams,
That will be just as “perfect,”
And satisfy my.
Soon,
I will follow my dreams
Despite other’s wishes,
And nobody will change me,
Or my dreams.
Nor will they try to tell me,
“I’m wrong,”
Then.
Anyway,
They will see how “perfect,” my dreams are.
And be embarrassed.
I, too, am independent.
