History
Clouded from these weeping skies
Still I haven’t been able to close my eyes
Her energy is fueling me
Whispering drops that have swam with the sea
Traveling far to places I’ve dreamt
In the midst of December she has still not slept
Her bitter fists hit hard as stones
Sending freezing chills down to my bones
Oh how I wish to have her strength
And eyes to see Earth’s every length
She’s as old as time and just as wise
Though men have tried through power and pain
One has never been able to tame the rain.
