I took this shot when I was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity in South Dakota on the Sioux Reservation last May. I know I am supposed to upload a new shot, but I really like this photo because it reminds me of all the amazing people I met and their stories. The Sioux tribe is a strong and beautiful group of individuals who have a resilient and wonderful culture. I only hope that I can go back to visit those who touched me so much. Mitakuye Oyasin in Sioux means "all are related," such a beautiful saying that I wish more people lived by.

If someone thinks that love and peace is a cliche that must have been left behind in the Sixties, that's his problem. Love and peace are eternal.
