One hot topic of this NFL year is the new replacement referees. This whole situation is being caused by the old zebras creating a lockout with the NFL commissioners. Basically, they are looking for a bigger salary. So now the NFL just hired ones from very low college levels. Even the bigger conferences in college football won’t let their best officials leave, putting the NFL in a huge predicament. Many people and players are becoming really upset from the new officials not making the right calls or missing other ones. Although, can’t you give these guys a little break, they are dealing with players many times faster and bigger than they are used to. It is like jumping from being a mayor from a little town to becoming the governor of a whole state! So what I’m saying is, take it easy on these new refs, it’s not the easiest job to do in front of millions of people.
