There's only so much you can do to make it grow. There's only so much water and food you can give a plant. In the same way there's only so much you can do to help someone follow Christ. Your job is to plant the seed. Let God take care of the rest.

Yes. You might have expanded on this point a little, but short and sweet can be good too. I believe the same thing.
