"Life goes on"

The world that we live in is vast and busy. There is always something going on, no matter what time of day it may be. Six billion people call earth a home, and yet that number is miniscule in comparison to the amount of natural things that inhabit this planet. To many, I am simply a number, one of six billion. But I believe that we as humans are more then just numbers. I think that everyone is unique, and has something to offer to this planet. These days, life seems so complicated, there are so many things that one must do. But, no matter where you are from, there are a few essential characteristics of life that all humans share. Dreams, for example are something that every human has. But the biggest thing that brings it all together for us is happiness. Everyday we make choices that have a direct relationship to our happiness. The only goal I have for my life is to be happy. Happiness seems to cure most problems, and the greatest thing about happiness is, that it is very flexible. There is not just one thing that will make us happy. We are all different, and therefore different things can make different people happy. Happiness is not something where one person is happy and everyone else is not. It is possible for everyone to be happy, a possibility for a better world. When people have asked me for advice, the most common thing I have suggested is, to follow their hearts and do what is going to make them the happiest in the end. I live my life trying to take the positives out of life, because in my opinion life is too short to dwell on the negatives of everything. To me the best thing about nature is that it allows you to be yourself. The beauty of nature allows you to think with your heart and not your mind. The worst mistake in life is going through life accepting things just because that is the way they are. Change is possible, although it is not easy. But, I am looking forward to the chance to change things in my lifetime.

I wrote this piece after I spent sometime reflecting on my life. I hope that this piece will help people evaluate the things in their lives that are bothering them.

Wow. This is a great article and it really got me thinking. I can sometimes be a negative person and its been pointed out to me, and im trying to take the positives out of life now too. I like what you said about thinking with your heart instead of your mine. Great job!
