If You Are Not Christian Why Would You Go To Hell?

I think that even if you are not christian, you will make it in heaven! How do we know if what the bible says is true? We don't really have a reliable source for that. And just because you are not a follower does not? mean you are not his children. If God truly created us equally, in some way, why would there need to be a reason for going to hell or to heaven? In god's eyes we are his children, and nothing can change that. You shouldn't always trust something you read. I mean how do we know that they are hiding the truth from us with this bible?? How do we know it's not all made up?

yeah i got a question; why is it stupid to believe in the Easter Bunny but perfectly okay to believe in a zombie who feeds his followers his flesh?

The "easter bunny" doesn't exist. Zombies are fictional.

I've read the bible. I didn't know that wearing polyester was a sin.

I've looked around me. I saw a lot of people. I don't know if you know this, but the thoery of evolution has been proven. the people that I see share a common ancestor with great apes.

Please follow your own advice and step out of your room, turn off glenn beck, and put down your bible.

I don't like saying that I believe in something above because we really have no idea. For as long as people have been on the Earth, who knows how everything started? I don't know if there is a God, and no one should be punished for having conflicted views on the matter. I see your point, but the artical gave mixed feelings when you started bringing in your own religion.

The Bible was written by men hundreds of years after any of the events of it "happened". Some pages were not even included. Who's to say for sure that anything in the Bible even occured? No one can say for sure, so why base your whole life around a book that could quite possibly be fiction when you could be out living? Ridiculous....

Interesting... actually there is significant historical evidence that backs up Scripture. Have you ever looked it up? If not, give it a shot. You might be surprised.

Actually,  a lot of the Bible was written years after the events took place. Besides that, there is a lot of concrete historical evidence that backs up the events documented in the Bible. If you do research, there is no denying that the events actually happened.

woah, sorry, had a stupid moment there. xD

thought you said "before", not "after".

anyways, it's actually both, now that i think about it.

the old testament prophesized most of the events that happened in the new testament.

I'm afraid that is not very accurate chelsrose11. The gospels (matthew, mark, luke and john) were written by those men who were disciples of Jesus. Which means they were alive which means that they could not have been written any more than 30 to 50 years after Jesus walked the Earth, and even 30 years is pushing it! the same goes for the old testament prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah the Psalms, proverbs and nehemiah to name just a few. You could of course argue that anyone could have made that up but ... (more »)

I am almost offened that you are even suggestiong that the Bible is all made up.  We believe in the Bible not just because God tells us to, but because it is something to let us know there is something beyond us.  It's like if you are buying a pint of low fat ice cream.  It is your favorite flavor and you just found it low fat.  You really want to believe that it is low fat so that you can eat it, but you know there is just that slight possibility that it isn't.&nbs... I don't see why you should be so offended. It is fact that there are different versions of the bible, and that some kings and queens altered it to suit their own agendas. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this author is simply sharing hers.

If you want to make sure that the version of the Bible you are reading is completely accurate, you can get the refrence materials and go check it against the orginal hebrew and greek versions.

The tranlation went directly from the original laguage to English.

God is Righteous and Holy; sin seperates us from Him.  Sin cannot survive in the presence of God. Jesus Christ's blood sacrifice on the cross reconciled and redeemed us back to God. He is our Mediator the bible says. Hell was made for the devil and his demons. Jesus is our only hope as our Messiah. He saves us from death, hell, self, sin, and the sorrows of this world. ...Can I point out that, according to your religion, I will burn in hell because I am Wiccan? Some people say that you won't go to hell if you don't believe in God. But being a Witch automatically makes me a demon? Witches don't even believe in a Devil, let alone worship one. Are Witche's Rede is "Harm None". Yet Christians say I will burn in a pit of fire forever. So, to make my point, you are contradicting yourself.

I hope I haven't offended anyone! Thanks for listening! :)
