American pride is handed down through the generations. Thanking the ones that fought to keep our country free. My dad and grandpa Spillman served in the Navy. That’s why i'm proud to be an American. It’s the pride of being a veteran's son and it’s the pride of the family lineage.

My grandpa served on the USS Essex. My dad serve on a base in the Philippines and California fixing F-18 aircraft. my grandpa Lodes (we called him Gunka) was a tool and die maker. he made parts for the first space shuttle. He took us to every parade in town on the fourth of July. Gunka taught me to take off my hat and cover my heart when the color guard holding the american flag walked by.

To wave my flag high with all the pride in the world. to buy american made products to keep our neighbors working. To vote, to exercise my rights and always hang an american flag outside my front door. That's why i am an american.
