Response to Talk

The poem Talk, really spoke to me and I could really relate to it, I think many teenagers can relate to this poem. It explains that if you get knocked down you are NOT worthless. Teens in high school get knocked down a lot, jobs, friendships, relationships, and grades are just to name a few. Everyone has that one friendship that doesn’t work but goes out with a bang. Feeling lost and worthless, I feel like if more people had the chance to read this poem the teens would feel like they are amazing no matter what. For example the gossip in school is the “someone said” in the poem and coming out strong is “so what if we lose we are amazing.” This poems message no only gave good advice, but explains high school for children that might not understand how to get through it, and even steering them in the right path.
