The prolonged piece is ideally suited to cosmic imagery in terms of both pattern and unpredictability. Johnel works in a number of genres, each with unique elements. He obviously acknowledges genre conventions, yet his music also contains surprising elements. Whatever the source of inspiration—street noise, organ, saxophone samples, or even dubstep—Johnel's long play embraces the displacement of form.

'Galactic Theme,' a solo extended play consisting of seven tracks, beginning with "H20", a pop inspired song and ending with "I Still Pray" a UK drill gospel track featuring vocals from singer 'Elmah'. The EP presents an outer space, future worldview. His self-founded label Nnamani Music Group, a division of the American ONE Revolution People's Music (ONErpm), released the Galactic Theme. The album cover, which shows Johnel floating in a futuristic setting to the bright sky above others observing intently, brilliantly conveys the concept of the lengthy play's title, "Galactic Theme."
