Screw This Crap

By , Birmingham, AL
Romance? No thank you. Sure I like reading that nice lovey mushy Nicholas Sparks crap, and I love Valentines Day, but if my boyfriend ever wrote me a poem I’d probably slap him. Not that I have a boyfriend. Because guys are so dang complicated. I’m a very simple person. I don’t like drama, and I don’t like dramatic guys who get so close to their girlfriends that they can’t live without them. That’s honestly just retarded. At the same time, I don’t want to date guys for two weeks, but I couldn’t stand dating a guy for six years before we got married, because any guy I’ve liked would be too awkward to spend six years with. So, I just don’t date. Screw all this romance crap. I have a life to live, and I’m not gonna fill it with drama and trash about “who did what with who, and omiletter, like forreaaaal!” I mean, really. I’m laid back. I don’t flirt, it’s retarded. If you want to date people, you do that, but I find it pointless at age fourteen to have gone out with thirty guys in the last two years. I don’t plan on dating till I can drive myself anywhere. Bottom line, romance is weird.

i agree. i really dont understand romance right now. im 14 and all my friends are dating, but it never works out anyway. its just ruining good friendships with guys and its complicated and lasts two days anyways. plus---- its not like ur gonna marry them. it might be fun but what u gonna do? it might get u into bad situations....
