Has anyone noticed how badly our climate is changing lately? Why are random plants and animals dying? Why is our planet dying? Climate change is the answer. A lot of things are reasons why climate change is a thing. There are solutions but people just don't want to do them. People may just have no motivation or may just be lazy.  Our planet is starting to get hurt by people's actions very badly. The planet needs help before it is too late. There are so many factors that can help this planet. For example, one big main factor though is plastic waste. Plastic waste emits gasses into the atmosphere. Plastic waste isn't only hurting the planet though. Animals are dying, their population is slowly decreasing. Almost everything in our world has shifted existence due to plastic waste.

The planet is slowly dying. Yes, it has always been slowly decreasing and decreasing and decreasing but, over the years it has been getting even worse. 380 million metric tons of plastic is produced each year. That amount of plastic is affecting the living things on our Earth. Everyone is probably thinking, how can we make it better? Even the little things can have a big impact on the planet. The little things are the things that we have to rely on too. It could be by using reusable water bottles instead of plastic ones or even plastic forks and reusable forks instead. There are many things that we could do to make the world a better, healthier place.

Plastic waste has a huge part in our animals' lives too. Many of our animals are going extinct. Plastic is being tossed outside of people's cars, and homes and just out of their hands as well. People don't think about where the plastic goes through. The plastic travels. The wind can take it or even if it is going downstream. People don't think about the outcome of their actions and it is destroying our planet. It is affecting our animals greatly. For example, the animals in our ocean are dying. According to Earth.org, the article states that over one million marine animals are killed each year by plastic waste. People don't understand that these are animals that are getting hurt due to our actions. Animals are changing their lives because of the plastic catastrophe going on. 

People haven't been affected by plastic this much in the past. “Global climate change” by NASA says that we have increased global temperature by 11.3% in the past year. In the past, people have just ignored plastic waste and it was fine with everyone and everything but now, it's all different. People have just been living like nothing has changed. We all are guilty of some sort of plastic waste. Now I'm not saying cut plastic completely. I am saying that we should be watching our usage. Plastic waste has been getting so bad we need to figure this out before it gets even worse. 

We need help. Everyone needs to pitch in for this to work. People can make clubs or fundraisers to help pitch in. If people watch where they put their plastic it would make a huge impact but if people were to quit using so much plastic, it would be even better. We should change the way we live. We don't need to use plastic all the time. When people go out and go grocery shopping ask for a paper bag or even better, a reusable bag. Everyone could change the way they do their everyday things. I think this would be a perfect way to fix things around. 

Our planet was beautiful when we first started in this world. Beautiful green plants, clean air, and gorgeous water were present. We have taken advantage of our home. We have injured it greatly. If we take action right now we can make it look better. We would feel better about our future. We can make the world a better place. The planet could stand out and we could have confidence in the world we live in. It would be a good thing for everything in the world right now. We need to start focusing on the world. This is our home and we need to take care of it.
