A world of division is not a world of prosperity. Close-minded bickering and an unwillingness to compromise will not lead to resolve. Nothing will be accomplished and no problems will be solved if it is only our own agendas that we are pushing. It is a sad truth that our vote has no bearing when corporate influence instills such a fear in our representatives in government that they lose all courage and valor. However, it is a truth that can be reversed. Through an unrelentless boldness and a demand for honesty and integrity, we can change the shape of our government. Together, we can diverge from our complacent ways and transform the way our nation is run. Only then we will see true progress, only then will we be a nation united.
