The Selection "How I Became a Murderer" by the author Chelsea Stratton was a shocking event to read about. I can't relate to it, but I disagree with her decision to kill Hannibal. She was close to the dog, why didn't she take it in and give it a home? I understand that it was her job, but she could have tried to save it and give it another chance no matter what her boss thought. The shocking/surprising part is that she actually went through with the choice to kill the dog. On the other hand she deserves credit for taking responsibility for what she did. I do agree with the decision of quitting her job because she didn't enjoy it. She took it in her own hands to make sure the dog had a proper, peaceful departure. She showed that she really cared for Hannibal and that's what truly matters in the end.
