I'm the one who has to die when it's time for me to die so let me live my life the way I want to.

It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not.

We try to hide behind solid gray walls, hoping no one will see us. But what do we accomplish, while the world goes on, when we hide in a bubble? We don't show our true colors, colors that should be shown. We hide our feelings. The way we feel? No one asks us, so we say it doesn't matter. Why do we believe that? Every day someone tells us we are very important and we matter. Yeah, right. We don't think that's true. In fact, we know it's not. We give up our lives because we had to sacrifice hope to be a little more normal. Who are we to say we want a better world when a better world will come when we are our true selves. We give ourselves labels. Are we punks, emos, heros, villians? Doesn't matter. We're all a little of each. Especially Emo. Everyone is Emotional at some point in their life. You can't lie about it. We've all cried over something stupid, gotten mad for nothing, hated the world. We've screamed at air and cursed out our friends. But for what? A stupid label that'll kill us in the end? A really good friend of mine asked me if I thought he was Emo. I said I didn't know. My friend is dark, depressing, soulful, perfect. I love him. Of course he's Emotional if I love him.
I had no reason to write this. I still don't. This is an issue that is killing our lives, hopes, and dreams. It just needed to be addressed.

Why do we ask for a better world when we know we need to be ourselves for our lives to be perfect?
