In Christa White’s poem entitled “Fake,” she uses poetic attributes to describe the hardships of being a teenager. I truly admired this article because I can relate to it. She describes how a teen will wake up in the morning, stand in front of the mirror and watch themselves put on an fake face and personality so that they will be able to “fit in.” In reality, teenagers must realize that they will not be satisfied with themselves if they continue to keep their true colors hidden. Hopefully,altenernatives will be reached, and teenagers will finally be able to go through life without worrying if they can be accepted or not. I understand Christa completely and wholeheartedely, and I am pleased thar she spoke her peace on this issue.
