Who cares what other people think? all that matters is who you are to yourself and what you think of yourself-Tiffanie O.

While I was growing up, I watched my mother suffer pain and depression form multiple breakups with my dad. For 16 years she was always unhappy. Though she was unhappy, I did my best to help out. We grew closer as time passed. I admire my mom the most out of anyone in my life because she is a strong women; she has always been there for me (good or bad); and she is a wonderful mother.

When my mother officially split up with my dad, she had to take care of three children. She had to be strong for her kids, so she never showed sadness in front of is, only an affectionate heart. She sacrificed hours of sleep (even though sometimes she’d come home after work and sleep) to provide for her three kids. She didn’t complain at all. She is always strong; in fact, this strength could be seen in her eyes. Someday I hope I can be as strong as my mom.

My mother’s strength has always been there for me in my time of need. We don’t have the normal scream-at-each-other relationships other mothers have with their daughters. We are very close; hence, I always tell her if something bad happens at school or anywhere else. When I’m in my room crying, she’ll bring my baby brother in the room and brighten my spirits (that’s when I tell her whats wrong). If my mom weren’t there for me, I don’t know what I’d do.

Being there for me is one of many things that makes her a wonderfull mom. She always goes out and gets dinner (to cook or sometimes takeout) after working hard all day. When she comes home, she’ll help the younger children with their homework and play with the baby while I help with everyday chores. She comes to all school events she can, and she always gets us to our doctor appointments on time. No doubt, she is a great mother because she’s had almost 16 years of motherhood.I hope someday I am as great of a mother as my mom,

Indeed, my mom is the most admirable person in my life because she never gives up on us or herself. I hope someday I can be a good mother just like her. I’d have all her qualities and more: loving, kind, and nurturing. I’d be the best mother I could be, just like my mom. My mom is the reason I look ahead into the future instead of back to the past.

I was asked to write about someone I admired most and the first person that popped in my head was my mother.
