"I will act as if what I do makes a difference."

As I sat in my car, I saw three little boys that looked like they were about 10 years old scooter by on their way to the skate park. They were sagging their pants, sporting skater shoes and hats, and clearly thought they were the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Where has the world gone? Little kids these days… they are in such a hurry to grow up. At this rate, we’re going to have to worry about our kids having sex in elementary school. The new scandal won’t be teen pregnancy, it will be tween pregnancy. Whatever happened to wholesome values? I remember when I was young; I was playing with Barbies and Beanie Babies, not trying to look like I was 20. I wasn’t wearing a ton of makeup, texting on my cell phone, or checking my facebook. And yet, there are third graders that are! My last question is, what happened to innocence?
