Just recently the TV was out at my dad’s house. It was terrible! We live in such a technologically dependent world that when something like a T.V. goes out, we don’t know what to do with ourselves. We have to be entertained with something other than the TV, so immediately we go to the computer or a cell phone. What if we lived in a world without TV’s, computers, or cell phones? Could you live like that? Every day at school, we’re on our cell phones, texting when we think the teacher isn’t looking or in the hallway between classes, constantly texting and calling our friends. So many kids have Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter. So they are on the computer all the time. If you aren’t texting your friends, you’re tweeting or IMing them. America is moving so fast with technology that soon we are never going to see anyone or talk face to face with them. We’ll be talking with them through technology. All I’m saying is that we need to slow down and go over to our friends’ houses instead of just chatting with them on Facebook

I think this author is TOTALLY correct. How did people survice without technology? What did they do with their time? How did they communicate. Wouldn't it be interesting to interview your mother, or grand mother about these isssues? BTW, how did you let a TV go out? Don't you have like 3 of them in your house!
