Preface My Little Bundle Of Joy The Life of Romance

It was 2008 when Rose then Allie and Damien Night first met.  She and her friend Missy was going with her to prom.  Missy invited her friend Leah and said that she had a date named Damien.  She figured the it would be a typical guy from Southridge High School and at the the time she wasn’t really sure what to expect.  The day of prom came and Allie spend the day preparing to make sure that things were as close to perfect as they could get.  She spend the day washing her car, vacuuming it and wiping down the inside.  She spent the rest of her day doing various things such as helping her parents with whatever they needed since she was still living at home at the time.  She planned out her prom outfit with the dress, jewelry, makeup, bobbi pins for her hair and shoes.  This day also happened to her be her 18th birthday May 10th,2008.  Her dress was yellow and long with a lace up-corset type back.  She also wore silver-grey shoes with jewels on them and a sparkly necklace and earrings.  She had her mom help her with her hair and makeup since she family didn’t have a lot of money at the time ad both of her parents were also working.  Her mother was a deputy collection agent at the county justice center and her dad was a machinist who made parts for various machines, pumps, and on occasion parts for local businesses in the area.  Her mother’s main job was to collect fines from criminals and enter them into the system.  If they didn’t pay their fine they would be taken to court to set up a payment plan that would be paid monthly.  As her mom did her hair and makeup she worried fi she would look as pretty as the other girls and her dates, she also had some butterflies naturally from being nervous.  She also was worried if she would look good in her dress since she had spent a good portion of a month working out and making sure that she was both skinny and in shape enough to fit into her dress.  She finished getting ready and put on her shoes and jewelry, her parents had a surprise for her birthday; a bouquet of yellow roses.  They of course wanted to take pictures in the backyard with her holding the rose in one hand.  They finished taking their what seemed never endless amount of pictures and off she went to pick up her close friend Missy from her house which was only a few minutes away.  Her dress almost didn’t fit in the car but she was excited to be going to the prom at all.  She drove to her house listening to the radio, trying to calm her nerves.  When she arrived at her friend’s house she could feel her heart pumping fast due to both nerves and the butterflies in her body.  She walked slowly to the back of the house which was used as the main entrance into the house.  Missy's mother Kelly said that she looked nice and told her that Missy was in her room.  She walked down the hallway to her friend’s room being the last door on the right.  She walked into a friendly greeting  from her friend and her finishing her makeup.  She sat down on the bed as she finished putting on jewelry and shoes and relaxed for a moment.  After she was ready to go the girls walked down the hall back to the kitchen to Kelly wanting to take pictures as every parent wanting memories would do.  After the pictures were taken the two of them walked out to the car gossipping about their friends and family as they usually did.  Rose got into the car as they both out on their seat belts and she started the car and slowly pulled out of the driveway,  She drove down the road and stopped shortly there after and drove forward for what seemed like miles until they arrived and the Red Lion Kennewick.  They met up with their friend Leah and her date Damien which wasn’t quite what she expected anxious for the fun and night time of memories she would look back on someday ahead.  They walked into the hotel banquet room taking in the sights, sounds and feelings.  The female collecting tickets waited ahead; the four of them each handed their tickets individually.  The group walked into the room and found an empty table and set down their things and sat down to relax for a moment by as this point the girls’ feet were aching.  After relaxing for a few moments the group made their way to the dance floor.  Leah had mentioned that they could all share her date so to they could all dance with a guy for some time throughout the night that was off and on.  They all danced a lot that night the girls with each other and trading with Damien (Leah’s date) throughout the night.  The typical announcements of Prom kind and queen were made but no one really paid attention to them because to be honest not one of them really cared.  After what would turn out to be an amazing night that none of them would forget the Prom came to an end.  Everyone had a good time but was tired and ready to go home for the night.  Allie and Missy said goodbye to Leah and Damien had given Allie his phone number and said to call or text anytime and that they should hang out in the near future.  Allie got into her car and drove back to Missy’s house as they listened to music in the car having a fantastic night.  As she drove she realized that she felt funny and wasn’t quite sure why.  It wasn’t sickness from having too much fun or nerves at this point.  She didn’t realize it at this point but Missy did she was slowly falling in love with Damien.
