Summary: (All my articles about the Waiting Room are in this -- this is just the novel format that wasn't around when I submitted before) This is a series of almost vignette-like stories, some from personal experience, others from imagination, all shared by people in the waiting room, about how they got to the waiting room. Throughout this, you will encounter youthful adventures - and how that can lead to some serious trouble, paranoid/disorganized schizophrenics, classic bar stories told by pseudosuave individuals, and who could forget about the classic moper - the dark and depressed one.
This happens to be the first short story I have written, and it almost didn't come together except that I was writing it for a friend who liked one of my essays. Her encouragement kept me writing this.
