Summary: The darkness appeared to have eaten him; there was no trace of the boy who had been in the spotlight moments ago. I slid out of the front seat of my car and walked toward the spot where he had been, moments ago. I wanted another glance of this stranger, who to me, in the few moments we had eye contact, did not feel like a stranger.
