Summary:

All Alec Martin really wants in life is his job as the time machine technician and the ability to make his best friend, Meredith, smile and his adopted brother, Sebastian, scowl after they get off from work. However when the time machine explodes, Meredith and Sebastian are lost in the time stream with no way of getting back to the present, and the present having no way of finding them.

Now finding himself alone, Alec will do anything to get them back from where they have been sent to. But he soon finds himself faced with the question of how much will he have to give up before the lost agents are brought back.
