The Price of Freedom
Summary: This story takes place during the start of the French Revolution and focuses on a few deserters from the French army that stole cannons to help with the attack on the Bastille, an old fort converted into a prison for anyone the king wanted to get rid of quietly. The main character, Daniel, isn’t sure what exactly he wants in life, and his basic motive is to keep himself, and his friend Edmond, alive. However, that may not be as simple as it seems, for trouble waits at every turn.
