All around the world,
the year is in its second month;
But here, time is resetting.

Paper fireflies wait
to illuminate the sky;
They will fly other nights,
but this is their maiden
voyage

Cinnamon silks,
saffron sounds,
cayenne heat,
lavender perfume,
wasabi delights;
Spices permeate all senses.

Spiraling now out of
powder kegs of light and
noise, a drake burning with
ancient mythology, and
modern souls – come
together, bound by
limitless human spirit.
