On September 9, 2014 Lions played Cougars. This was the first game of the season for both teams. Both teams have been practicing hard and are ready to play. They get on the field and Cougars wins the toss, they differ. Lions pick to receive. Cougars kicks the ball and the game has begun.

Lions drove to the Cougars school on September 9, 2014. This was the first game of the season. Both teams practiced hard for the game. The 7th grade plays first, they lost. The eighth grade played after. Pads were popping, you could hear the teams yelling, and the whistles blowing throughout the whole game. “Get your blocks!” the coaches yell from the sidelines. Lions won 28- 8 Lions conquered  the first game of the season.

That game was amazing the Lions had went home with a win. It was a rough win. The first game of the year was a good one. Good job Lions! They now will go on and play Triton. They will be playing to win.
