The St. Louis Cardinals won their 11th World Series title with the help of their star first baseman, Albert Pujols. Now, two months later, the very same man who led them to the series is part of another team. Angels owner Arte Moreno paid $254,000,000 for this star for 10 years. Pujols is now the second most paid player in the history of the MLB only behind Alex Rodriguez. Now think about some other great athletes that strayed off from their original team. Brett Favre was one of the best quarterbacks the NFL has ever seen. Once he was done with the Packers and had moved on to the Vikings, he completely lost his touch. Vlad Guerrero had been an Angel for most of his career until he was picked up by other teams year after year. No matter where he went, his playing just wasn't the same. Although, Vlad settled down into the Rangers recently and helped them to an American League Championship. Will Albert be able to adjust to the Angels? We'll just have to see.
