Red

October 15, 2007
By Thaad De Weever, Plantation, FL

Red drips down my arms and legs
As I stand on the field ready to ignite
When the play is over and the crowd goes wild
I look over to the sideline and see my coaches enlight
As I get up very tedious and look down my arm
Is all is see is red drops dripping down my arms and legs
Know as I look to the opponent’s sideline
I see the disconsolate look on their faces
Which stretched all the way down to their laces
When I start to triumph in joy
They think I try to rile them
But is all I did was leave the field
With red drops dripping down my arms and legs.
