This past week the warhawks girls’ varsity field hockey team beat competitor, Kettle Moraine, in a blowout victory of 7-1.
“It was a beautiful game,” said head coach Melissa regarding the play of the game.
Seniors Amanda and Stevie both scored twice during the game. Junior Jordy also made her mark on the scoreboard followed by senior Mallory . Uniquely in this game a stroke which is similar to a penalty shoot was awarded to the Warhawks. Senior Ellen took the shoot and found the back of the goal.
“We had a really good game, everything we have been working on seemed to come together,” said Panther.
The girls will be playing again this weekend against rivals, University School of Milwaukee.
