There is a man, a magician,

who plays in the NBA.

And every day Penny does pray

that he will play in the finals one day.

He made it to the finals in 1995

only to face Houston and take a nasty dive.

But now there are no excuses or any of that jive

so the Orlando Magic guarantee they'll survive.

And now that Shaq's gone with all his $doe,

that leaves good old Penny to run the show.

To show all the people, either fan or foe

that Mr. Hardaway is ready to go

to a place where an Orlando lover has never been,

on that wonderful cloud after a championship win.

This man plays with the greatest of ease,

when he drives to the hoop you can feel a breeze.

And at times he gets weak so you think you can seize

so he takes a step back and starts knockin down 3's.

On his elbow he wears a band

which is on the same arm as his shooting hand,

and in this hand he places the ball

and dribbles right past the small and tall.

He goes right by them as smooth as can be

with so much grace and creativity.

Even though Penny is very tall

he is extremely generous with the ball.

He almost averages a triple-double per game.

If he keeps this up, he'll be in the Hall of Fame.

And with this fame he has many fans

many more than the average man

would have at his highest peak,

on Monday, Tuesday, or any day of the week.
