It was a Friday night, another $30 gone to waste. It was worth it. Walking in, listening to screaming children, frightened by red lasers surrounding them. iCombat is a place to make you feel young. It makes you feel ready---ready to battle. Children, and adults run in fear of being aimed at---aimed at by the red point. You feel as if you need to be protected, it’s realistic. You become tired. The gear is too heavy to run with, but you continue. Your mission is to beat your opponents and achieve their flag. 

Once your army gear lights up, you feel relieved, but sad. Out of nowhere, it is your turn. You didn’t expect this, but you have to aim---and fire.  The dark room will give you anxiety and your heart starts to beat faster. Without thinking, you run and hide. But there is no place to hide.

There is no one left to aim at. Take off your gear, recharge your gun, and fill the ammo for the next people to come and play. The game is over. iCombat is one of my greatest treasures in Waukesha County.
